On September 29, 2017, WISH for OUR HEROES (W4OH) will host our fourth-annual Whiskey & Wishes Heroes Gala, in conjunction with Coach Popovich of the San Antonio Spurs and other local San Antonio celebrities. In its third year, the Gala has become one of the most popular and exclusive events in Central Texas, raising more than $612,000 during the first three years, 100% of which assisted local military families struggling with hardship situations (food, shelter, transportation, child needs, uncovered medical expenses, etc). This year, we are excited to announce that the gala will be held at Pedrotti's North Wind Ranch for the first time! We anticipate more than 1,000 attendees this year, and we're very thankful to the Pedrotti family for allowing us to utilize their incredible facility. We're also super excited to announce that Spurs' favorites Matt Bonner and Andrew Monaco will join actor Drew Waters as the MC team for this year's event. During our first three galas, we granted 37 wishes at the events to surprise local military families struggling with various basic needs. This year, we’re going to step it up and grant even more wishes (by surprising military families attending the gala), so that we can all pay tribute to our American heroes, as we eat, drink, and celebrate together.
